About Our Novi STEM Leaders 2024

Krystina Pearson-Rampeearee

Krystina Pearson-Rampeearee is a multi-award winning Chartered Engineer and STEM Ambassador who works as an Engineering Delivery Lead at BAE Systems and founded her own small business, AviateHer. She studied Aerospace Systems Engineering at the University of the West of England and became the first engineer in her family. She is passionate about encouraging and inspiring more young people, especially young girls to consider STEM careers.

Mivy James

Mivy has been an IT professional for over 30 years and has undertaken a wide variety of hands-on software and technology leadership roles in multiple sectors. She has been pan-defence Chief Digital Technology Officer since Feb 2024.
 
Mivy started her career as a coder having completed a degree in Computer Science and Maths and is an advocate for careers in STEM as she feels extremely lucky to have found her own ikigai through her career choice. Mivy founded the gender balance network in her previous organisation in 2015 on returning from maternity leave and insists on greater inclusion in technology, defence and leadership particularly for women.

Monica Sasso

Monica provides strategic support to Red Hat’s financial services clients as they look to open source and adopt open hybrid cloud technologies to drive business transformation initiatives. Monica’s focus areas are digital transformation, operational resilience and compliant infrastructure.
 
Previously, Monica worked for prestigious organisations on a global scale – from Nationwide and Barclays to Coutts and Deutsche Bank.
 
In her spare time, Monica works with female entrepreneurs and helps encourage more girls to participate in sports – she is the past Honorary Treasurer and Corporate Social Responsibility Champion for the University Women’s Club, London is a Girl Guides leader, a STEM-ette mentor and is the Global Chairwoman for Red Hat’s Women Leadership Community.

Susan McDonald

Award-winning Electrical and Mechanical Engineer in the Power, Utilities, and Renewables sector.
Susan is an influential leader in the two defining challenges of our time – energy transition for net zero (2023 MCA Experienced Leader Award), and the response to Covid (2022 NHS WISE Unsung Hero Community Champion Award).
She is a passionate advocate for promoting careers in engineering and technology in her role as a Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering ambassador, Homeward Bound Global Women in STEM Leadership programme ambassador, and the Women’s Engineering Society.
Susan is helping to chart a path to climate and nature resilient growth, and better futures for all, through her role at Deloitte and non-Executive role at The James Hutton Institute.

Cheryl Razzell

Cheryl Razzell is the Head of Compute (Solution Architecture) for AWS in the UK and Ireland, leading the charge in driving innovation in cloud computing and beyond. With over two decades of extensive experience, she is dedicated to leveraging technology to propel business growth.
 
Cheryl is an accomplished public speaker and digital trailblazer, known for her passion in advocating for women in the tech industry. She specializes in guiding organizations through the adoption of DevOps practices and seamless cloud migration.
 
In 2023, Cheryl was honoured to be named one of the Most Influential Women and was a finalist for the Emerging Leadership award. These accolades reflect her unwavering commitment to excellence and her contributions to the tech landscape.

Sue Partridge

Sue joined Airbus as an engineering degree apprentice in 1989 and progressed to leading large teams working across all Airbus programmes. Currently she has two roles. Sue is Head of Airbus Filton and also leads the Wing of Tomorrow Programme, the largest global Research and Technology Programme in Airbus.
